Ladner Market

Bibs, Hats and onesies...oh my! The table was full yesterday at the Ladner Market.  One of the perks of being a member with the Watershed Artworks Society in North Delta is the fact that we get to share booth space at the Ladner Market every summer.  Ladner has grown in to a huge farmers and artisan market showcasing everything from pottery, to woodworking, to painting, to salad dressing and specialty food items...and it's all amazing! There is live music almost all day long (which we were fortunate enough to be quite close to this weekend!) and the food vendors are to die for. Seriously. I'm so grateful my stuff was well received yesterday, and after a long week of working after the kiddos went to bed I am renewed and ready for a great summer full of more great markets.  You can find me next weekend at the River Market in New Westminster on Saturday and the brand new Firehall Farmers Market in North Delta on Sunday.  You can find times and addresses on the even...

New stuff!

Hello Friends, I know it's been a while but I'm here to tell you that new designs are on the way!  Here's a sneak peek at the process I use to create my designs.  Each design is hand-drawn first and then transferred on to a piece of linoleum, which I hand carve and print on paper to get the very first print!  Next, I transfer that print on to the computer so I can size it perfectly, then I set up the silk screen (which I'll describe one day in another post, as that's quite a lengthy process as well!) so I can hand screen each of the onesies.  As I go along I will take pictures so that one day I can write about the entire process. For now, be warned that penguins, butterflies and maybe a few more little friends will be on their way soon in new springy colours on a short sleeve onesie! Stay tuned for all the progress... Colour Love

Love seeing these stacked together looking all soft and colourful! Getting ready for the burst that is Christmas Season...busy bee, printing, heat setting, tagging and pricing.  So gratifying when it all comes together though!  Wish I could do one in every colour.  Maybe eventually :)

Almost there...

Well, the first set of long sleeves have been printed! hooray!  I am loving how absolutely soft and cozy these onesies are.  I'm also so happy about my new hang tags, they are so simple but add so much to bringing together the whole look of the clothing.  Now I just need to finish printing the brown owls on the natural coloured onesies and they will be all set to fly away to their new homes :)   These organic cotton long sleeve onesies come in brown with white owls and natural with brown owls.  My vision has always been to offer primarily unisex items and I love these combinations for any little bambino.   I am also introducing drawstring pants in the same cozy and soft organic cotton. Combine any of the onesies with any of the pants and you've got yourself a beautiful gift or special treat for your own little owl!  I highly recommend dressing your little one in the set and then having a good snuggle :)  The simplest things ...

The hang tags are here!

I was so excited to pick up my new hang tags today from jukeboxprint.com! They look amazing and I can't wait to start tagging some freshly printed onesies to get them out for the fall/winter season. I am also excited to announce that I'll be introducing organic cotton long sleeve onesies and organic cotton pants to the collection! I think they will make a perfect, cozy set for your little ones through this chilly weather. The new onesies and pants should be making their grand appearance at the Deck the Halls Christmas market this December so stay tuned for more information on that! Xo
